Deborah Harris founder of Your Wellness Inc. has created a nonprofit that meets the needs of those so often marginalized by society. Those who live with a mental illness. She pulls from her personal experience and is able to reach not only those who are diagnosed but she reaches the caregivers as well. The organization caters to the full person; mind, body, and soul. Not only can you be a part of recovery groups, but you can also receive food and wellness packages to maintain proper nutrition and hygiene. I have been a volunteer at several of YWI's events and have witnessed the love, dedication, and time that Mrs. Harris and her team put into serving families that are in need, as well as raising awareness and combating the stigma of mental illness.
